Ghostbusters and the Recruiting Process

I bet that you are wondering what The Ghostbusters movie has to do with the recruiting process. It has absolutely nothing and everything to do with it unless you have not watched the movies. So here goes.

The Ghostbusters continually had to pivot. Their were so many non-believers until ghosts appeared and needed assistance. In the recruiting process, it is pretty much the samething. There are scouts who are watching student-athletes all over the world. Many of the scouts see the same type of players, but you have to consistently set yourself apart. How do you do this? You have to do what the ghostbusters did. Don't let anything stand in your way. Stick to your vision and be ready to go over, under, around, and through obstacles placed in your way. I'll make it even simpler, you have to be able to pivot.

The recruiting process cannot happen without student-athletes. It is important to have an advocate throughout the process. You must have someone that can facilitate the process because you only get one chance. Your time is now.
